THE OLD DEAD TREE Live Recordings To Air On France's 'Radio Metal'

September 12, 2008

Radio Metal will air one hour of live recordings from the French metal act THE OLD DEAD TREE this Sunday, September 14 starting at 8:00 p.m. (GMT+1),with a rebroadcast Monday starting at 4:00 a.m. (GMT+1). These recordings are taken from the band's concerts on May 31, 2008 in Lyon, France and April 3, 2008 in Paris, France.

A THE OLD DEAD TREE track entitled "Dive" has been posted online at this location. The song comes off the Parisian goth metallers' latest album, "The Water Fields", which was released in September 2007 via Season of Mist. The CD was recorded at Stage One Studio in Germany with producer Andy Classen.

Speaking about the new CD, vocalist/guitarist Manuel stated, "The band went further again, reaching a new stage in terms of songwriting and maturity. This album is much heavier and darker, but also more diverse and full of sheer emotion! Even the production of Andy Classen outdoes the job on our previous material."
